This crossword draws from the novels of Jane Austen, Georgette Heyer, Patricia Veryan, and a number of “silver fork” authors. As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I was surprised how many terms referred to alcohol and drunkenness. I’m kind of assuming that the number of words one invents for an activity is proportional to how much of it is going on!
